OH MY, how I long for the 3 hours nap on the train!

Friday evening

It has to be done...

Today

Started this day with a run in the forest. 

Now two hours of breakfast, reading and sun bathing in the park. 

Then the evening shift at work. 

Let's hope for a quiet and calm night so that I can feel that I'm actually doing a good job. 

HOT!

It's hot outside and it's hot inside. 

It's hot at work and it's hot at night while sleeping.

It's hot all the time.

But don't get me wrong...

I love the summer and I love the sun and the warm weather.

But I do prefer to be, when the weather is like this, somewhere I easily can take a swim. 

And somewhere the wind blows a little bit of fresh air.

Linköping is making me feel locked in.

And sometimes it's getting hard to breath.

I think I need to get away soon...I need air!

Å skymningen är tidlöst vacker...

Övertid. Dålig sömn. 30-graders värme. Inget hav i sikte. 6:e arbetsdagen för veckan kvar att arbeta. Trött. Slut. Gråtfärdig.

Hur kan man inte då längta bort, längta hem?! Till skymning vid havet.

Men Lasse sjunger:

Strawberry love

Bought 2 liters today.

Made smoothies with the berries from one liter.

Nice to have at work instead of coffee.

The other liter I'll just eat...

Love it!

Flea market shopping

Yesterday me and Å went for a flea market tour in the area of Fornåsa and Motala. And I'm so, so, SO HAPPY about the pink tea/coffee pot I found for only 320 kr.

It turned out to be a pot in the Rosmarin series designed by Hertha Bengtsson for Rörstrand, produced between 1957-1966.

I've been looking for the pink coffee pot in the Sointu series by Kaj Franck for Arabia, produced between 1954-1959. The coffee pot is pretty much the only thing I'm missing for a complete coffee set. But it seems like it is impossible to find. So far I've only found one for sale...and that in Finland...and of course in the wrong color. 

But as far as I'm concerned my new pink Rosmarin pot is probably as good as it gets when it's not from the same series nor by the same designer. It has a slightly darker shade of pink...mostly because of the different types of chamfer. But it is still perfect and it probably is the most wonderful coffee pot in the world!

...that tonight's gonna be a good night!

The last party as a student tonight.

My hair is getting curly.

The make-up is up next before taking my new beige-gold dress and high heels on.

I feel as ready as can be.

Tomorrow is a new day

Today has been a emotional roller-coaster. 

Some days are like that.

But I would have needed to be just happy.

It was supposed to be a happy day.

A well...there's a new day tomorrow.

Let's try again.

Wishes

I wish that the final weeks in school will pass by smoothly.

I wish that my new job will be worth all the studying, the tears, the headaches and heartaches.

I wish that starting to work will lead to opportunities of visiting, and spending time with friends around the country and the world that I haven't seen for ages.

I wish that I will be able to run 10k in September.

...and I wish I had some chocolate at home right now...

Det är nu det kommer åter.

A new headache day...

Only two shifts left

Two working shifts left on my final clinical placement period.

Tonight and tomorrow. 

Then the practical examination on Friday.

I thank "God" that this shit is over within reasonable time. 

Remember these ?

I have now gone through the pile of jeans and pants in my closet.

This time every pair fit even if some of them feels a bit big (?!) 

Amazing. 

Can't remember when that happened last.

In the bottom of the pile I found a pair from Fornarina. 

Must be 6 or 7 years since I bought them. 

But how I loved those jeans back then!! 

And even if I probably won't wear them in public ever again I can't throw them away...
Too many memories.

Do you have a plan A and a plan B ?

So much depend on tomorrow.

If I don't make it I might not be able to start working in June.

Then what?

How do you handle that stress?

Last time I had a study free day was the 10th of April.

I'm tired now. I'm numb. 

I've had a headache for 3 days and I've got trouble sleeping.

But as Dr. Phil said tonight on the telly:

Do you have a plan if it works?

Do you have a plan if it doesn't work?


I have both a plan A and a B.
It's good to be prepared...and It's always good to have something to look forward to if everything else falls apart.
